Visit our lovely Coach Hall for a delicious Devonshire Cream Tea, locally ice-cream, scrumptious homemade cakes and bakes - and unparalled views sweeping down the Exe Valley.
Fursdon's Coach Hall makes a very welcoming tea room and doubles as the ticket office.
Maps of the garden and information about the historic house are available here. It is just the place to come for a catch up chat with friends and is great for families too, with a slide and swings nearby. On cool days there is a roaring log fire to sit beside, and when the weather is warm you can sit outside in the cobbled courtyard. Our planters, overflowing with bee and butterfly friendly flowers, are always much-admired!
- A selection of teas
- Freshly brewed coffee
- Our own Fursdon apple juice
- Homemade scones, west country clotted cream and locally made strawberry jam. We also serve a savoury cream tea with homemade cheese and chive scones, cream cheese and homemade chutney.
- A selection of home baked cakes and biscuits
- Farmer Tom's Ice-Cream
When the Fursdon cutting garden allows for it, we also sell bunches of flowers. It's a lovely way to take a piece of Fursdon home with you at the end of your visit.
We welcome dogs on leads and always have a fresh bowl of water out for them.
As well as a Tea Room, the Coach Hall can be hired for small events or functions. Please contact the estate office on 01392 860860 for more details about this
Please note that our tea-room is sit-out only at the moment. If it is raining, an open-sided side barn with tables laid out is available to provide shelter. Thank you for your understanding!
