Special Open Days 2021
Bluebell Day: May (date TBC)
Join us for our Bluebell Day when the bluebell wood will be open as part of garden entry, offering visitors the chance for an extended walk through nature.
Bees & Meadows Day: May (date TBC)
Wander through some of the lovely meadows that are not usually open - and hopefully spot a wild orchid or two - on this special day of extended garden entry at Fursdon.
Trees & Woods Day: June (date TBC)
A special weekend open day to celebrate our amazing, very varied and very beautiful trees. Enjoy a lovely walk around the gardens and take a moment to admire the enormous old beech trees and the veteran oaks, as well as beautiful cornus, acers and copper beeches.
Charity Open Days 2021
We aim to run two charity open days during our open season, when proceeds from the garden go to a local charity. Please refer back for further details in 2021.
Group visits to Fursdon House
Please contact us as these must be booked in advance and are encouraged on days when we are not open to the public. We can, though, sometimes manage small groups on our normal open days - please ask us! We are very happy to take group visits up to the end of September. Please ring the office (01392 860 860) to discuss your requirements, including catered lunches and cream teas.
Pricing for groups of 20 or more people:
- House & Garden: Adults - £9
- Garden only: £4.50
Due to coronavirus restrictions in 2019, we were sadly unable to open operate house tours. We hope that the situation will be such that these will be able to run again in 2021.
