It’s a time of looking back and looking forward at historic Fursdon House. The tail end of the House Opening season with just 3 more weeks of welcoming visitors to its attractive and colourful gardens and the Coach Hall tea room before we let it rest until the Spring but there are still visitors staying in the comfortable and spacious Park Wing and Garden Wing apartments and gorgeous Fursdon Cottage. We actively encourage it, in fact!
What better time to visit Devon than out of season when the temperature is cooling but the fires are lit and country walks with the family (and the dog) beckon in this beautiful area of Devon, near Exeter - a short break or a long weekend?
Now it’s time to review the season and plan for 2019. During the autumn we work out what went well by reading our reviews, visitor books and looking at the figures and being quite tough on ourselves if anything didn’t quite work. There could be the odd sigh but it’s not for long as it will soon be time to start all over again and make it work even better next year. Planning starts now to make the 2019 season a great one for our visitors and who knows what changes will come about next year!? Watch this space, but remember there will always be a warm welcome at Fursdon for holiday visitors any time of the year.
